AUSTIN, Texas — Leaders are gathering Wednesday to celebrate the grand opening of a new Ascension Seton healthcare center in Central Austin.
The center, titled Ascension Seton Health Center Lamar, is located at 1004 W. 32nd St., just down the road from the Ascension Seton Medical Center on Lamar Boulevard.
The 101,000-square-foot facility is a multi-specialty health center that will offer cardiovascular care, spine care and outpatient imaging services. The center also has a 290-space parking garage.
At a grand opening Wednesday, April 27, the Ascension Seton CEO and Austin Mayor Steve Adler are expected to speak and do a ribbon-cutting.

It's yet another health care facility opening in the Austin area to serve the fast-growing region.
In January, KVUE reported that Ascension Seton Medical Center is expanding with a new tower dedicated to women's health. Construction on that building is set to begin in the fall of 2022.
