AUSTIN, Texas — As it prepares to open its second location in Austin, Dave & Buster's is hiring just in time for the holidays.
The entertainment venue said it's looking to hire 160 people to join the team ahead of its opening on Monday, Dec. 18, in South Austin.
Positions available include servers, bartenders, hosts, line cooks, game techs and front and back-of-house staff. The company said it offers benefits and encourages high-performing employees to move up quickly. It said more than 30% of current Dave & Buster's management base was promoted within the company.
The Texas-based entertainment company said its new location in Southpark Meadows, which is near Interstate 35 and Slaughter Lane, is a 23,000-square-foot space that will feature more than 100 new arcade games, a state-of-the-art sports bar and a 40-foot high-definition TV screen.
The new location will be replacing the old Joann Fabric and Crafts storefront.
