BASTROP, Texas — Looking for a quick snack? A new bodega in Bastrop has you covered.
Elon Musk's latest venture – a massive warehouse full of snacks, soda, coffee, beer, wine and other items – is now open.
Musk opened the Boring Bodega in Hyperloop Plaza along FM 1209 as part of his vision of building a town next to his SpaceX and Boring Company facilities.

But the bodega hopes to stand out from your traditional convenience stores. According to KVUE's partners at the Austin American-Statesman, the Boring Bodega will also have a children's playground and lounge space, along with a spot to buy Boring Co. merch. Included in the lounge space will also be a video game area, bean bag toss, and a pickleball court that can be rented for just $1 an hour.
Reports say there are also plans to add a bar and an outdoor stage in the future.
You can swing by the bodega Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. It will also be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 10 am. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
