New 46-story office tower slated for Austin's skyline

Construction is set to begin this summer with a 2025 planned finish date.

AUSTIN, Texas — According to the Austin Business Journal, the Austin skyline is gearing up for a new addition.

The report states that Cielo Property Group is planning to break ground on the project this summer, with a late 2025 completion date.

The 46-story, 750,000-square-foot office tower has been dubbed "perennial." It will be located just east of the Frost Bank tower.

The report also states that the new project marks the first step in the group's plans to transform a full block between Brazos Street and San Jacinto Boulevard. Cielo previously purchased the southern half of the block, where Perennial will replace Brazos Hall and a small office building.

Plans indicate the office will include a 30,000-square-foot "Sky Garden," a 500-person gathering space, private meeting rooms, a walking trail and balconies on every office floor. The ground-floor plaza is also planning for a 28-foot waterfall, with 37,000 square feet dedicated to retail, restaurants and entertainment venues.
