AUSTIN, Texas — Shopping along South Congress Avenue continues to change. An iconic store that has been on the street for decades closed its doors one last time on Sunday.
Tesoros Trading Company announced on Instagram that it is "retiring" after 33 years on South Congress.
The store invited customers to stop in through June 26 to take advantage of sales. Tesoros offered half off on block-printed textiles, books, Haitian oil drums, hammocks, indigo rugs, sarongs, scarves and Vietnamese dishes.
Furniture and displays inside the store are also for sale.
