AUSTIN -- The Travis County District Attorney s Office has convinced a district judge to double the bond for Truett Don Jones after a new charge arose for him in Horseshoe Bay last week.

The 25-year-old already had multiple arrests and convictions for drug possession and driving under the influence before he was indicted by a Travis County grand jury last fall. He was charged with intoxication assault, aggravated assault and failure to stop and render aid.

Austin police say Jones hit an Austin cyclist and left him in the street in October 2012.

That cyclist, Brian Lindquist, had part of his brain removed and was hospitalized this week for ongoing seizures.

Now Jones is in trouble again, this time with Horseshoe Bay police. They say he was naked when he walked into a women s locker room at a resort trying to look at women taking showers.

Horseshoe Bay police issued an arrest warrant for indecent exposure.

What we've loosely been told by the detectives is that he was seeking a massage for him and his buddies. He went up to the scheduler for those massages and said 'I am so high I don't know what I'm doing,' said Lenore Shefman, the civil attorney representing Lindquist.

It's just so heart-wrenching that this guy is out there enjoying life, and while my son has been stuck in a prison of a body for nine and a half months with a traumatic brain injury. It just rips my heart out, said Susan Beuhler, Brian Lindquist s mother.

Jones attorney Donald Flannery from the Jerry Goldstein Law Firm in San Antonio told KVUE that his client was not indecently exposed and called the incident a big misunderstanding.

Flannery says Jones turned himself in to the Bexar County Sheriff s Office on the Travis County bond and Horseshoe Bay issues. Someone was able to bail Jones out on a $300,000 bond Monday evening.

Truett Jones has a hearing scheduled for August 23 in Travis County.
