Austin Police are calculating crime reports from the ACL Music Festival weekend.

AUSTIN -- Police are calculating crime reports from the ACL Music Festival weekend.

According to the department's incident report system posted online, there were at least 40 reports filed on Friday at the Downtown Austin Command and another 21 reports filed in the South Central Command, which is where Zilker Park is located.

An estimated 75,000 people packed into the park each day of the music festival for three days. Some took public transportation shuttles to get to the park.

Others drove on their own and parked near the festival. Police sent a warning out to those drivers. According to the department's auto-theft force, vehicle burglaries are one of the top preventableproblems during ACL. When cars are parked and left alone all day they become prime targets for thieves.

According to APD s report numbers online, Friday reports include numerous different charges such as DWI, Public Intoxication and theft, including Burglary of a Vehicle.

Saturday numbers are still being calculated. As of Monday morning, nine reports were filed online from the Downtown Command and six reports were filed in the South Central Command. Those reports included Public Intoxication, theft, DWI and Burglary of a Vehicle.

APD s Special Events Force is compiling a list of all crime reports linked to ACL this weekend. A release is expected this week.
