I joined the KVUE team in September of 2004, after serving as the Sports Director atNews 9 San Antonio and before that was the Sports Director at KTRE in Lufkin, TX. After 7 years as the weekend sports anchor at KVUE, I took over as co-anchor of KVUE News Daybreak and KVUE News Midday in September of 2011.
I studied journalism at the University of Texas at Austin. My wife Shontel (an Aggie by the way) and I have two children. Hayden joined the team in 2002 and Landrie came along in 2004. We call Round Rock home and love living in Central Texas.
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with family, visiting amusement parks, and an occasional round of poorly played golf.
I always wanted to work in Austin, and I consider myself very lucky to be here.
