AUSTIN – The Austin Fire Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two men caught on surveillance camera around the time of a suspicious fire on Nov. 19.
AFD said crews responded to two trash fires in the West Campus area between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 19. Video from a convenience store shows two people of interest walking by shortly before one of the fires.
The fires occurred at 25th and Leon and 24th and San Gabriel, according to AFD.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Austin Fire Department's Arson Investigations office at 521-974-0240 or CrimeStoppers at 512-472-TIPS. A reward may be offered for information leading to an arrest.
