AUSTIN -- A man faces multiple drug possession charges after his mother called police complaining her son was acting "crazy" while using drugs.
Austin police said they responded to a call early Sunday morning about a man acting strangely. Police said when they arrived they found Christopher Bowser, 35, in the kitchen of the home. According to the arrest affidavit, Bowser had a cigarette box, three pieces of a white, rectangular shaped pill and a baggy with a leafy green substance in it.
Bowser told police the items were his and when police looked inside the cigarette box, they found a circular blue pill and a small baggie with two small white rocks in it. Police said the rocks were crack cocaine, the rectangular shaped pills were Xanax -- which Bowser didn't have a prescription for -- and the leafy green substance was marijuana.
Police said they searched Bowser's room in the home and found ecstasy pills. According to the arrest affidavit, one of the rock-like substances found turned out to be methamphetamine.
Bowser was charged with possession of meth, crack cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
