AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department (APD) is searching for two suspects believed to be behind a robbery that occurred at a South Austin gas station on Jan. 20.
According to APD, the suspects entered the gas station, located at 5401 Menchaca Road, just after 11 p.m. APD said the two "aggressively" entered the store and pulled the cashier from behind the register, then stole an undetermined amount of money while holding the clerk at gunpoint.
The suspects then left the store and headed northbound in a white four-door sedan.
Suspect one, pictured above, has been described by APD as:
- approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall
- thin build
- last seen wearing a black full ski mask, white long-sleeved shirt, black ripped pants, one black glove on left hand and white and green athletic shoes.
He was armed with a silver handgun.
Suspect two, picture above, has been described as:
- approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall
- thin build
- last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie with matching pants, a black balaclava, black gloves and white and black athletic shoes.
He was armed with a black handgun.
The two are wanted on charges of aggravated robbery. Anyone with information on the suspects is encouraged to contact APD.
