AUSTIN, Texas — A new special on ABC's "20/20" features some of KVUE's reporting about Erik Charles Maund, the Austin businessman convicted in 2020 for a murder-for-hire plot that left two people dead in Tennessee.
A federal jury found Maund guilty of hiring men to kill a woman he was having an affair with, along with her estranged boyfriend.
Four men, including two from Austin, were charged in connection to the kidnapping and murder of Holly Williams and William Lanway in March 2020. Investigators showed 20/20 the undercover FBI phone call between Maund and one of the hitmen that led to Maund's arrest.
