The Bastrop County Sheriff's Office said two men have been arrested after a months-long investigation, with more arrests coming.

BASTROP, Texas — Two men were arrested after a months-long investigation into illegal gambling and prostitution in Bastrop.

Now the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) says more arrests are coming.

According to Sheriff Maurice Cook, the two men were arrested with the help of the BCSO Narcotics Unit and the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC). Two locations next to each other along State Highway 95, a Delco Food Mart and a Zoo Market, were searched for illegal gaming devices.

The sheriff's office said gaming devices, money and drugs were all seized from the location. Ameena Bhaidani and Joshua Lovett were arrested and charged with Possession of Gambling Devices and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity after investigators spent nearly six months looking into the operation.

Cook said more arrests are expected after they complete their investigation.
