AUSTIN, Texas — One person was injured in a shooting in southeast Austin on Wednesday night.
According to the Austin Police Department, the incident happened at the South Interstate Highway 35 northbound frontage road and East Riverside Drive.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, APD told KVUE.
As of around 9:10 p.m., the northbound frontage road was closed at Sunny Vale Street and the Riverside exit was closed.
The road has since reopened as of Thursday morning.
