Arrests made after after shooting leaves 17-year-old hurt in Kyle

Both shooters are facing two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, along with other charges.

AUSTIN, Texas — Two teens are facing multiple felony charges after a shooting at a party in Kyle left a 17-year-old injured.

According to the Kyle Police Department, the shooting took place in the 400 block of Old Stagecoach Road in the early morning hours on Nov. 26, when a 17-year-old male victim was shot in the leg.

Police responded to a shots fired call just after midnight. They weren't able to identify the shooters initially, but recognized parallels after responding to a deadly conduct call the following day and recognizing ballistic evidence that matched the scene.

Kyle police later arrested 18-year-old Christian Jeffery and a 17-year-old male in connection to the incident. Both are facing two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, along with other charges.
