US Postal Inspection Service offering reward to locate men accused of robbing mail carrier

The incident occurred on Lucky Lane on Dec. 4, at approximately 9 a.m.

LEANDER, Texas — The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is looking for two men suspected of robbing a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier in Leander on earlier this week.

According to a poster shared with the Leander Police Department, the inspection service is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.

The poster states that the robbery occurred on Dec. 4, at approximately 9 a.m., in the 2000 block of Lucky Lane in Leander.

The suspects are described as approximately 6 feet tall, with skinny builds. Both were wearing dark hoodies and dark face coverings, and they fled the scene in a dark-colored, four-door sedan.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is asking anyone with any information about this incident to contact the agency at 1-877-876-2455. Say "law enforcement," and reference case number 4202352-ROBB.
