A dispatcher with the Llano County Sheriff's Department was arrested for allegedly hiding her son at their family ranch while knowing he had a warrant out for his arrest.
According to deputies, an investigation into Kathy Osbourn, 62, began Saturday, Aug. 3. Authorities said they believed she was connected to the attempted apprehension of her son Kaleb Osbourn, 32, who is wanted on a blue warrant from pardon and parole.
Officials said Llano County dispatch was tipped off that Kaleb Osbourn was staying at the Osbourn Ranch on North State Highway 6. Numerous law enforcement agencies were called to search the area, which deputies said Kaleb Osbourn had escaped capture on at least two occasions over a two to three week period.

According to the Sheriff's Department, Kathy Osbourn turned herself into authorities on Aug. 6., and was released on $15,000 bond.
Authorities said it's not known if Kathy Osbourn is still employed at the Sheriff's department after this incident. However, if she is convicted she could face up to 10 years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
