The Manor Police Department arrested the man accused of firing shots with a BB gun at another vehicle on Highway 290 during late February.
Police said Michael Sewell, 52, turned himself into Travis County Central Warrant at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
At 6:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, police received a report from the victim of the incident, a man in his 30s. He told police that while he was driving on Highway 290 East in Manor, near the Riata Ford, a man brandished a BB gun at him before firing several shots into his vehicle, striking him in the neck.
Police later learned that the victim had to have the steel BB removed from his neck.
The discarded weapon was found at the Giles exit on the Highway 290 toll road, police said.
Sewell is being held on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. His bond is set at $50,000.
