DALE, Texas — The Caldwell County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a possible murder occurred in Dale, Texas, on Wednesday.
Officials responded to Taylorsville Road around 7:09 p.m. after receiving a report about a possible shooting. On scene, officials found a victim deceased with a gunshot wound.
Deputies arrested Howard Orozco Harris, 53, on scene without incident. He was transported to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office Jail and was magistrated on a murder charge. His bond was set at $500,000.
The sheriff's office is now investigating alongside the Texas Rangers.
