Suspect in custody after Pflugerville PD warns residents of police activity

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — The Pflugerville Police Department has taken a suspect into custody after warning residents about police activity near the Greenridge neighborhood.

On Wednesday morning, Pflugerville police warned residents through a Facebook post and a text message alert that police activity was underway near Greenridge, located near State Highway 45 and State Highway 130.

The police department was assisting Central Texas Regional SWAT to support the Texas Attorney General's Office in searching for a wanted suspect and said there was no danger to residents.

At 8:32 a.m., the police department posted on Facebook that the suspect had been taken into custody.
