Round Rock Police searching for suspect in Motel 6 robbery

Round Rock Police are searching for a suspect in a Feb. 16 aggravated robbery at a Motel 6 along IH-35.

AUSTIN, Texas — The Round Rock Police Department released a video on Thursday, showing a robbery that occurred on Feb. 16 at the Motel 6 located at 1400 N IH-35.

Police stated they are in need of help identifying the suspect in the aggravated robbery, who is seen on camera running into the business and stealing the drawer from the cash register, after pointing a gun at the employee.

The suspect is seen wearing black shoes with white soles and a black bandana covering their face. He was also seen carrying a bright pink insulated bag. The suspect is described as a white male between 5'10" and 6'2" with a thin to medium build.
