The Taylor Police Department said they received a call just before 8:30 a.m. about shots fired on South Main Street.
Police said they were told about someone wearing all black running out of a field towards the roadway. When officers arrived, they found 25-year-old Jesus Rodriguez-Gonzales with a loaded revolver at the scene.
