AUSTIN, Texas — A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged with a felony after making threats targeted at a northeast Austin elementary school.
According to the Austin Police Department (APD), the department was alerted on Aug. 20 of a credible threat directed at Graham Elementary School. The FBI had also received a tip about an Instagram user making concerning statements online.
Police arrested the teen and they have been charged with terroristic threat, a third-degree felony. Police say the teen's parents are cooperating with law enforcement.
