AUSTIN, Texas — A teen accused of trying to carjack a woman at knifepoint was hit by two separate vehicles as he tried to run away.
The attempted carjacking happened at the Wal-Mart on Interstate 35 near Slaughter Lane in South Austin on Tuesday.
Dylan Glass, 17, took off when police arrived. Police said Glass ran into traffic after he was found at a Whataburger.
He was hit by a car and rushed to the hospital.
Once he was released and taken to a police patrol car, he took off again and was struck by another vehicle on James Casey Street.
Glass has been charged with robbery, aggravated robbery, evading arrest and escape from police custody.
