AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department has arrested two teenagers that officers say led them on a chase in a stolen car early Thursday morning.
Police say the chase started at around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. Officers followed the teens around State Highway 71, up Interstate 35 and through a side street until they eventually caught up with them near Fifth Street and Pleasant Valley Road.
Police said the teens jumped out of the moving car to try and run away, but they weren't fast enough.
No one was seriously hurt during the incident. It's unclear at this time what kind of charges the teens may be facing.
