AUSTIN, Texas — The Georgetown Police Department is investigating an abduction and sexual assault that happened Wednesday morning.
According to police, the incident occurred between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. The victim, a 36-year-old woman from Georgetown, said she was walking to a convenience store in the 100 block of West Valley Street and North Main Street when a vehicle stopped near her. The man who was driving the vehicle then got out and threatened her with a large knife before zip-tying her wrists and forcing her into the back of the vehicle.
The man then allegedly drove her to a secluded location and sexually assaulted her before driving her back to the location where he abducted her.
The victim described the suspect as a white man with a slender build, long red hair and a long red beard
The vehicle is described as a metallic silver hatchback, slightly smaller than an SUV.
