KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Former Texas Longhorn and current Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy's car was stolen earlier this week, according to a report from ESPN.
On May 13, Worthy's car was reportedly taken from the parking garage of an apartment complex in Kansas City, Missouri.
A spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department said the car was reported stolen around noon after it was noticed missing around 7 a.m.
Worthy was not around his car at the time of the incident, and no injuries have been reported.
As of May 17, there have been no reports of Worthy's vehicle being found.
Xavier Worthy's football history
Worthy is well-known for his time at the University of Texas at Austin, where he scored a total of 26 touchdown receptions and played in 39 games throughout his 3-year college career.
Worthy is also recognized for breaking the 40-yard dash record during the 2024 NFL Combine, completing the run in just 4.21 seconds.
Worthy was chosen as a first-round pick to join the Chiefs in the upcoming NFL season. He is the 10th Longhorn to be drafted by the Chiefs in history, according to KVUE's media partners at the Austin American-Statesman.
