GEORGETOWN, Texas — Work to fix up some schools in Georgetown is moving right along.
Construction wrapped up over the winter break to install new football and softball fields at East View High School in Georgetown, Community Impact reported.
It's the first project to be completed with funding from Georgetown Independent School District's 2018 bond.
That money will also help pay for new turf at Benold, Tippit and Forbes middle schools and new tracks at Benold and Tippit. Additionally, Georgetown High School will get new baseball bleachers and turf over the summer, according to Community Impact.
