Austin ISD announced that Paredes Middle School will reopen Wednesday, days after a pipe burst and caused some flooding in the academic building.
The district said some students will attend classes in other classrooms on the campus, but all students should arrive for their normal B day schedule on Wednesday. AISD added after-school activities will also resume on Wednesday.
School officials said the high water damaged classrooms, the basement and administrative buildings. Austin ISD restoration crews began water cleanup Sunday after the pipe burst was discovered.
