CEDAR PARK, Texas — Multiplatinum artists Ja Rule and Ashanti will be joined by Ginuwine and Jagged Edge this may when 102.3 The Beat hosts its "Throwdown" concert on May 18 at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park.

Tickets will be released on March 29 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.com and the H-E-B Center box office.

Fans can expect to be warped back to the 2000s to watch and listen to the classic duets like "Mesmerize," "Down 4 U," "The Inc," and "Always On Time," which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100, and a few more.

When it comes to '00s R&B, not many can mention Ja Rule without giving a nod to Ashanti. Though he had plenty of successful hits on his own – and through collaborations with others like JAY Z, Christina Milian and Jennifer Lopez – some of his most memorable songs came courtesy of his chemistry with Ashanti.

Both from New York City, the two were label mates under Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. Records. In 2002, they worked together on four Top 10 Billboard singles such as "Always on Time," "Mesmerize" and "Wonderful."

But Ashanti had success on her own as well, moving on to her own hits and solo albums, like the Grammy-winning "Chapter II." Some of her most well-known singles include "Foolish," "Rock Wit U (Aww Baby)" and "Rain On Me."

Meanwhile, Ginuwine is best known for his smash hit "Pony," and Jagged Edge will bring the party with "Where the Party At."
