COVID-19 numbers:
- Texas: More than 54,000 cases have been reported in the state, and more than 1,500 people in Texas have died, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. The department estimates more than 33,300 people have recovered from the virus.
- Central Texas counties:
- Travis County: More than 2,800 cases have been reported and at least 84 people have died. More than 1,008 people have recovered from the virus.
- Williamson County: More than 520 cases have been reported and at least 21 people have died. More than 290 people have recovered from the virus.
- Hays County: There have been at least 270 cases reported in the county and at least three people have died. Around 158 people have recovered from the virus.

Updates:
6:15 p.m. – On Sunday, Travis County reported another death from COVID-19 as well as 59 new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 84 deaths and 2,847 cases. At least 1,008 people have recovered from the virus in Travis County.
5 p.m. – Austin Mayor Steve Adler has taken to social media to encourage social distancing after videos emerged showing crowded bars in Austin this weekend.
Adler said the two videos are from Buford's on Sixth Street and Plaza De Toros R3 in southeast Austin.
"Heard these weren't the only two packed places," Adler wrote on Twitter on Sunday afternoon. "Please maintain six feet distance and wear a face covering to give the Governor's reopening of the economy the best chance to succeed - and last."
2:50 p.m. – Arkansas Bend Park and Mansfield Dam Park have reached capacity and are closed for the day.
1 p.m. – For the third day in a row, Pace Bend Park has been closed due to a large number of visitors. Reimers Ranch Park has also been closed for the day.
9 a.m. – Graduates from the University of Texas at Austin participated in a virtual university-wide commencement Saturday night. A total of 9,946 students graduated from UT Austin this year, including the inaugural class of Dell Medical School.
