AUSTIN, Texas — If you like a warm and consistent weather forecast, you're in luck! Not a whole lot to talk about this holiday weekend in terms of weather, so we all hope you are able to get out and enjoy the summer-like weather.

Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sun with partly cloudy skies every day through at least the middle of next week. Beyond a few morning sprinkles, there is not a lot in the way of rain in the forecast until next Wednesday.

The strong high pressure to our east will continue to usher in gusty winds from the Gulf of Mexico, keeping dew points and temperatures high. These high temperatures and dew points will result in heat index values in the mid to upper 90s. So be sure to stay hydrated and apply sunscreen regularly if you plan to be outside for an extended period of time.
