Kris Betts knew she wanted to be in the news since, well, forever. Her parents have video of Kris "reporting live" from the Twin Towers in New York at nine years old. Kris was bit by the news bug early and is proud to be joining the KVUE News team from her former station, KETK and Fox 51 in East Texas.
Kris graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. While in college, she was a competitive boxer and met her husband at the boxing gym. It was love at first punch!
