PFLUGERVILLE, Texas -- One person is dead and another is injured after a crash at Heatherwilde Boulevard and West Pecan Street near Pflugerville High School on Monday.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS officials, a 44-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Medics said a woman in her 20s was taken to Round Rock Medical Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
KVUE confirmed the woman was driving an SUV and ran the red light, hitting the man's car.
Officials have not yet released the man's name.
