AUSTIN — An alleged thief may have brought home the bacon, literally.
According to North Austin eatery Foreign & Domestic, the suspect trotted over and made off with their prized pig early Sunday morning.
The restaurant posted a surveillance video of the alleged suspect on their Facebook page.
According to a report from the Austin American-Statesman, the suspect stole the 150-pound pig from the restaurant’s exterior walk-in storage cooler. The report states the pig costs $2,600 retail, and the thieves also made off with about $1,200 worth of beer and wine and $500 worth of meat and bacon.
If you think you may know the suspect or whereabouts of the missing pig, give police a call.
