AUSTIN, Texas — Firefighters with the Austin Fire Department (AFD) battled a blaze at a South Austin strip mall Saturday morning.
According to officials with AFD, the fire occurred at 719 William Cannon Blvd. Of the 15 units in the mall, one was damaged by the fire while six others were affected by the heavy smoke.
The fire was under control by 6:30 Saturday morning. AFD said they are still investigating the cause of the fire.
