Austin teachers: 'Treat yo self.'
Alamo Drafthouse locations throughout Austin from March 12 to March 16 are offering free tickets for Austin teachers as a part of Teacher Appreciation Week.
Educators get free admission to any show before 6 p.m. -- excluding special events -- and all you'll need is a current ID from your place of employment. Homeschooling parents are included in the deal as well, provided they show proper documentation stating they are a teacher.
This offer may be used for one free ticket per transaction, per day, the company said.
EDITORS NOTE: KVUE shared a story Tuesday from our sister station, KENS, which stated Alamo Drafthouse was running a month long Teacher Appreciation promotion for San Antonio, Laredo, Corpus Christi, and New Braunfels locations only. While true, the structure of the social post for that article by KVUE mistakenly insinuated that there was no deal at all for Austin locations, which was not the intent of the post.
