AUSTIN, Texas — An AMBER Alert that was issued on Tuesday for two 6-year-olds missing from Kyle has been canceled after the children were found safe.
According to the City of Kyle, shortly after the alert was issued, both children and 20-year-old Kylei Ashlyn Glasgow were located in Caldwell County. All three have been taken safely into custody.
The Kyle Police Department said officers were notified around 2:30 p.m. that the two children had been taken by an adult family friend to go fishing. They left from the Plum Creek neighborhood around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and their mother had not heard from them since, police said.
The adult left her cellphone and credit cards at the residence and had no way to get in touch with the children’s mother, Kyle police said.
