AUSTIN, Texas — American Airlines is ending service to four locations from Austin's airport.
The airline confirmed to KVUE that it will end nonstop services from Austin to Nashville, Raleigh-Durham and Boston starting this winter. It will also end nonstop service to Orange County, California, next year.
American Airlines said the first three routes will end in November, while the California route will end in January 2025.
In a statement, American Airlines said it is proactively reaching out to impacted customers and apologized for any inconvenience the changes may cause.
However, American Airlines confirmed it will maintain service to all eight hubs that are currently flown nonstop from Austin.
American Airlines already announced plans to cut five nonstop routes from Austin's airport this fall. The changes will take effect in October as American ends flights to Las Vegas, New Orleans and Orlando, Florida, as well as seasonal service to Reno, Nevada, and Palm Springs, California.
