The Central Texas community plans to honor the lives of the victims affected by the Austin explosions over the course of March 2018 with a candlelit vigil in Pflugerville Friday night.
The vigil follows 21 days of terror in the Austin community as a bombing suspect left explosive packages and tripwire around town. The suspect killed himself with his own detonating device as police were close to catching him.
According to a Facebook post, the vigil to "support the families impacted by the tragedies" will be held on the Lawn area, the southeast corner of 10th street and Pecan Street, at 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Organizers ask attendees to bring their own candles to the event. According to the post, 36 people have confirmed they will go to the event, and 76 people say they're interested in going.
