AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department (APD) has located a man who was previously reported missing.
Daniel Choi, 40, has been found safe as of July 1, according to APD.
Before being found, Choi was last seen at approximately 1 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Davis Street, near Rainey Street. Choi's friends said they found his phone over four hours later, on the ground at Cesar Chavez and South First streets.
APD was concerned because the 40-year-old needed medications and had no wallet or phone with him at the time he went missing.
