AUSTIN, Texas — Police have located a missing woman and toddler last seen in northwest Austin Sunday night.
On Monday, the Austin Police Department asking for help finding 72-year-old Gloria Moore and a 2-year-old girl.
Police said Moore became disoriented and her cellphone battery died. Moore's vehicle broke down at the side of State Highway 71 and she called a relative by borrowing a passerby's phone, according to APD.
Prior to being found, the pair was last seen at 9:30 p.m. Sunday at a relative's house in the 4000 block of River Place Blvd. in a blue 2019 Honda Civic with Texas license plate 4722L37. Moore's cellphone last showed activity at around 4:30 a.m. Monday, according to police.
Police said Moore has been diagnosed with cognitive impairment and her disappearance posed a credible threat to her health and safety.
On Tuesday at around 1:25 p.m., police said both Moore and the little girl had been found safe.
