Woman last seen leaving voluntary group home found safe, Austin police say

Austin police said the woman has been located and is safe.

Austin police said a woman who was reported missing after leaving a voluntary group home has been found and is safe.

Police tweeted that Diane Holub, 65, was found Saturday, Oct. 27 just before 1:45 p.m.

The Austin Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding a woman last seen leaving a voluntary group home after a "small verbal altercation."

Police said Diane Holub, 65, was last seen around 7 a.m. Friday at 11605 Autumn Ridge Drive.

She is described as a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 165 pounds, with salt-and-pepper hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeved dress with pink flowers, blue jeans, with her hair pulled up in a bun. She might be carrying a multi-colored purse.

Police said Holub has medical conditions that create a concern for her welfare.
