No charges expected after 2 men killed following fight at North Austin game room

Austin police said the shooting Sunday morning was sparked by a fight.

AUSTIN, Texas — No charges are expected following a deadly shooting at a game room in North Austin.

According to the Austin Police Department (APD), the Sunday morning shooting was sparked by a fight outside of the game room on Parkfield Drive.

APD said during the investigation, officers learned 46-year-old Jamie Davis and his girlfriend were asked to leave the game room. A game room security guard, identified as 35-year-old Deondre Flint, walked out of the game room as well.

Police said that's when Davis' girlfriend got into a fight with a female employee of the game room, which led to Davis shooting Flint. Another security guard then shot Davis, according to police. Both Davis and Flint were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
