AUSTIN, Texas — An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was killed in southeast Austin.
Austin-Travis County EMS said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near Crumley Lane and Montopolis Drive around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Details on the crash are limited, but officials pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Delays should be expected as authorities investigate the crash. It's unclear at this time if the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.
