AUSTIN, Texas — Police will be targeting dangerous drivers in northwest Austin as part of a new traffic enforcement initiative.
Austin police said that after multiple complaints from neighbors in the area, officers will be out enforcing traffic laws.
The initiative will be in place until further notice and target the area of Ranch Road 2222 between the MoPac Expressway and State Highway 360.
Police said after hearing about motorcyclists speeding and engaging in other reckless driving, they'll be out looking for drivers committing those acts and other hazardous violations.
