AUSTIN, Texas — At least one person living near The Triangle area of Central Austin got a rude awakening on Wednesday.
A car crashed into something at the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and West Guadalupe Street, sending that object into a home.
KVUE spoke with the resident off-camera. They said they were asleep when the crash happened and woke up to their bed covered in glass and debris.
No one in the building was hurt, but the driver had to be removed from their car by Austin-Travis County EMS medics and taken to a hospital. Their condition is unknown.
It is not clear if any charges will be filed against the driver.
