BASTROP COUNTY, Texas — Now at capacity, the Bastrop County Animal Shelter is hoping that by offering $20 adoptions they'll find homes for many animals in need.
"We are having to make tough decisions every day because of the influx in animals we are getting plus, we are having barely any adoptions," said Wendy Balalrd, animal services coordinator.
The Bastrop County Animal Shelter is located at 589 Cool Water Drive. They are open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are closed Monday and Tuesday.
