TAYLOR, Texas — A boil water notice that was issued for parts of the city of Taylor on Monday following a water main break has been rescinded.
The city said the water main break on Fourth Street, which has now been repaired, caused a significant pressure drop.
Customers in the affected area were asked to boil their water prior to consumption, including water for washing hands and faces, brushing teeth and drinking.
Anyone with any questions is asked to contact Water Superintendent Sam Thomas at 512-352-3251.
