CEDAR PARK, Texas — Paws up if you're ready for Friday?
That may have been this raccoon's sentiments after it was rescued by the Cedar Park Police Department Thursday morning.
Police plastered Twitter with photos from the ordeal -- the raccoon got himself stuck in a gate at the Buttercup Creek Cave Preserve. Luckily for the raccoon, officers were able to safely wiggle him free.

"That feeling when you’re just trying to make it to Friday," police tweeted, along with the hashtags #stickysituation and #whennaturecalls.
No word on what was inside the gate that piqued the round rodent's interest.
"These gates are to keep people from getting into the cave but they intentionally have holes built into them (as required by the Federal government) to allow small mammals to go in and out of caves, as these small mammals are an important part of the ecosystem," said Jennie Huerta, media and communications manager for the City of Cedar Park. "There are many small creatures – some endangered – who depend on these animals (and what they leave behind, if you know what we mean)."
